"There was nothing that we did not like about our stay! We decided to escape for one night, without the kids, to relax after a hectic Christmas and it did not disappoint. The room was very spacious, well laid out, and very clean. We had dinner in the main restaurant (Calders) and the food was exceptional, thank you to the chef and staff who welcomed and served us. We had the pleasure of using the newly refurbished spa facilities (apparently some work still to be done but we could not tell) and what a relaxing experience it was. An all round cosy comfortable stay for 2 busy parents, with fantastic customer service, and all that Carnoustie Golf Hotel has to offer. Thank you and we will be back "

"Room was very clean and well presented, what let it down was the lacked proper lighting. The bed nearest the window the only availed light once dark was the very small reading lamp attached to the bed or a very small desk lamp by the TV. Which meant if dropped anything and it rolled into the shadows it was near impossible to find (bring a torch). If you needed to find something in the corner or small pockets of a case, coat etc then that had to be physically move it over to the door where there was full lighting. The electric heater was also not powerful enough to heat the room properly. "

"Great hotel in a great location for Royal Deeside. All staff were very helpful and attentive. Rooms were lovely, clean & comfortable. All public rooms were cosy & comfortable and a great place to hang out with the log fire burning, giving it a great ambiance. "

"A nice friendly clean hotel, stayed with my family 2 adults and 2 toddlers midweek. Kids loved the swimming pool and bunk beds in the family room, could have done with more space but we didn’t spend much time in the room. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of it. Parking outside hotel is in short supply but there is more space at the rear and a free public car park across the road so you won’t be stuck. Blairgowrie is a nice little town with plenty of amenities. "

"Great hosts, beautiful location. The accommodation is a fantastic conversion and the rooms are very nice. Free Breakfast is handy if you want something quick or if you’re willing to go spend some money in the cafe I’d recommend it as the food and atmosphere is lovely."
