"We were a party of 10, getting together to celebrate the 60th birthday party of 2 family members. The house was beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, although to be honest we spend most of our time in the cosy but large kitchen and adjacent games room. Many period features allowed you to really experience how they used to love. Kirby Stephen high street was a stones throw away, making it convenient for local shops and pubs. Would highly recommend for a large family get together"

"Booked for my husband's 60th. Accommodated the eight of us and the dog beautifully. Each couple had their own bathroom although the one by the front door was not ensuite but this was not a problem for us.The sofa is huge and we were all able it sit/stretchout comfortably. The townhouse is fitted out to a high standard and is well equipped. The staff were extremely helpful and sorted an issue with the sky box straight away. "The cottage was an ideal base to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside. It was very spacious, perfect for the two of us and we never tired of the amazing view. We hope to return once if not twice next year!"

"Our family of five had a fantastic stay at this spacious house. It's perfectly located for exploring the region and the host is lovely. While the house does show its age and can be a bit humid in certain areas, we were lucky with the weather and found the house to be well-heated. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like the tea and biscuits, and the kids loved the selection of books. Overall, we recommend this property for a great family getaway!"

"Millbrook Lodge is a lovely house - it has everything you want and more from a holiday home. We did have an issue with a beeping smoke alarm which unfortunately did not get resolved while we were there which is why I cannot give it a 5 star review."

Kitchen had everything, inc. a cafetière, salt & pepper grinders, dedicated drawer of superbly sharp knives(!) & a resident kitchen spider who earnt her keep by catching a mosquito! The bed is huge - could easily fit 3 people! (Duvet cover is a bit noisy/rustles like taffeta when it moves, so light sleepers with partners prone to nocturnal limb flailing might be kept awake by this. The antique wardrobe was ace - I enjoyed the labelled shelves based on sartorial stylings...

"The house really is tiny - but it worked for the four of us with no problems. My granddaughter loved sleeping in the attic! Everything worked as advertised and it was warm and comfortable. We had no issues parking across the street."

"We really loved this place. There are not many places that I think the experience of the property is better than the photos but I really think that this is the case in this lovely place. We loved the spacious bedrooms and the underfloor heating in the kitchen was great, as was the fireplace in the lounge. It is always good to have a hot tub but this is a really nice size.
