"Stunning views of lake and mountains out every window! Chef-prepared cook-to-order breakfast (delicious!) We enjoyed the sauna, wood-fire hot tub, and plush robes. Comfortable lounge with floor to ceiling windows; I curled up there to read a good book and have a cup of tea in the evenings. Lodge had not many rooms, so it was quiet and felt very private. Staff was wonderful, very welcoming and accommodating. Couldn’t recommend any higher."

"View from the room was amazing. Room was also pretty cute. Lovely owner and very welcoming. Just wished the TV in my room was working. It also got bit noisy at night because of the other guest family and kids but somehow I managed to get an ok sleep if not a beauty one. Overall it was a good experience."

"Unfortunately we could only spend one night here because we left for Franz Joseph the next morning. But, we were delighted when we arrived and saw this beautiful room…amazing view of the lake with floor to ceiling windows, it had a full kitchen, fireplace, living room and dining area. I could stay there for weeks and be happy. Only one downside is the distance from downtown. We took cabs. But, if you like to walk, it’s a lovely one."

"We stayed here for two nights over Easter. We arrived and parked the car and left it there for two days. We walked down the hill to Queenstown day and night. The location was excellent. It was clean, warm and quiet just what we needed. "
