"Room 17 massive bed but mattress need to be replaced delves in the middle and both end up in the middle of the bed.plus room 17 is right under the dining room so from 07.00 its like marching men all morning.but this is only room 17.one other thing we got told bar was open until 10.30 but the shutters came down at 21.50 with not even a do you want another drink"

"Great B&B in a lovely location, 30min walk to Keswick. Beautiful walk to Keswick - take a good torch for nighttime walks to town. the village itself has a nice wee pub and has stunning views. "Fabulous stay at the Westbourne. Friendly greeting from Sue and check in was quick. Room was excellent and had everything we needed. Location is perfect as you are no more than a 10 minute walk to the lake, restaurants, bars, and shopping, but hotel is on a quiet street in a good location. Breakfast in the morning was served by Andre and was really good. Would absolutely stay here again and would definitely recommend. "

"Storrs Guest house was clean & comfortable. The owners were very friendly & helpful, nothing was too much for them. They were knowledgeable on places to see. The breakfast was excellent - sets you up for the day. I would recommend Storrs Guest house & it was only a 10 minute walk into Bowness which offered some amazing friendly pubs & the food was good, enjoyed the Sunday roast in the Flying Pig very good food."

"A great guest house in the heart of Ambleside with secure parking a two minute walk away. Room was excellent, very well decorated ad fitted out. ON-suite was good and the shower was super powerful. Tracey and Kevin were great, super friendly and breakfasst was top notch, loved the big fat cumberland sausage and the poached eggs were excellent. Would highly reccomend."
