"We received a warm welcome from the staff at this very popular Inn in the village of Hardraw. Our room was compact, clean and cosy, with an ensuite shower, basin and toilet, very nicely decorated and furnished and with a view over the adjacent churchyard. Due to the popularity of the Inn together with the fact that it shares a carpark with the adjacent Hardraw Force Waterfall & Tearoom, parking can be tight, but we were lucky and managed to find a space throughout our two night stay. "A wonderful stay at this charming guest house. Our hosts Rich and Ada were very welcoming and gave us recommendations on places to eat and walks to enjoy in the local area. We had a tastefully decorated small double room which was spotless and although compact very comfortable with everything we needed including a mini fridge. Breakfasts were delicious, fantastic choices, beautifuly presented and fresh local ingredients. Lovely little garden at the back. Very easy walk to both Windermere proper...

"The meal options are great but check when the kitchen is open when you arrive. Breakfast is very good. The situation is perfect for peace and quiet, particularly for visiting Leighton Moss. It would be helpful if the wi-fi details were available in the room, but the staff are very helpful and pro-active so it was easy for me to get this (and other) information."
