"There was a damp smell upon arrival. When we looked around we could see there had been a leak from the bathroom staining the ceilings and carpets. The bathroom door did not lock and there property was generally in a poor state of repair. Marks on every wall and paint peeling from the window sills. "Beautiful views… The accommodation was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The host Janet was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived and completely respected our privacy. Awesome place to stay, with amazing walks just outside the door. We loved the waterfall which was a very short walk away… The track leading to the accommodation is covered in potholes which is the only downside. The views and the walks outweigh this minor inconvenience. We highly recommend…"

"The cottage is in a lovely quiet rural location with beautiful views. As a family of four the two bedrooms with a jack and jill bathroom worked well for us. The lounge is comfortable and spacious and the kitchen a lovely size too, with a table to eat at. We also appreciated the porch and utility room which was helpful when coming in with wet coats and boots. The garden is a really good size and with the enclosed wall was perfect for our dog. "Old apartment block but internal of the unit was alright. Good location, close to Sainsbury’s and a few restaurants, some better ones need to book in advance though. There were towels and games and WiFi was steady. However, kettle was black inside, no toilet rolls, some plastic cups with white marks and management company was closed after keys picking. "Great stay a woodbine cottage. It's a great location for all the shops and pubs, and some fabulous hiking from the door. Good sized accommodation for 4, but maybe tight for 6 as the bunk beds are very rickety and small, so maybe not advisable for small children."
