"This hotel has a wonderful location, just past Jose Ignacio. Unfortunately it is now rundown and unkempt. The grounds, which were lovely when the hotel first opened, are now a disaster. Doubt they have seen a gardener all summer. There were big black ants traveling up the walls outside our room. Huge dead water bugs lay on the floor of the restaurant bathroom. Quite unappealing, to say the least. This hotel could be fantastic, but needs a lot of TLC, and it is not receiving it. "

"The area is beautiful, but the room very old and in very bad condition. It is a shame that some property owners rent a 300 Usd night bedroom is a status of a 1 star minus hotel. Will come back To the area but not to this poor place. The sink was loose and also the toilette, throwing water to the floor… room was not well cleaned. "This place was one of the most memorable places I’ve stayed in my life! The cabins are in the water, so when it was very windy, the whole room was swaying. It was fun for us, but it may be a little too much for others. The location and view was just amazing. You could just jump into the water right in front of your room. Inside of the room was much better looking than what you would expect from outside."
