"We had a terrific stay. The hotel parking lot has a gate that opens to a boardwalk to the beach. There are souvenir shops, bars, coffee shops within walking distance. Or you can drive a short distance to the other beaches and lots of good restaurants ten minutes away. The room was large enough for three adults. It’s not fancy but clean and pleasant. Beds were comfortable. The pool is not large but kids were having fun in it. The breakfast was nice, varied with eggs bacon biscuits sausage gravy waffles, cereals etc. A little espresso machine and a variety of tea. I was impressed with the dining area staff - they kept it spotless. Those women were always working and always cheerful and ready to help with any request. There was a rowdy guest one day, yelling and being a disturbance. We decided to go for a walk and. By the time we got downstairs the police had already been called and handled it. No further nonsense like that. If we are in Jacksonville Beach again I would stay here again."

"During our visit to Jacksonville, we rented a car. However, I really liked that dining and shopping options were within walking distance. On the other hand, you definitely need a car to reach the beach area, even though it’s quite close. The hotel room was clean, and the breakfast buffet offered a large variety of options. The only drawback was that the pool was a bit small—but who needs a pool when the ocean is waiting for you!"
