"The views every room provides are stunning, the pools are run down, cold and an addition of a hot tub would be fantastic, the VIP access was no big deal, complimentary slippers and an all adult floor which the noise of screaming children still echoed to the room "

"A classic resort we have visited for many years, but slowly losing its shine with Hyatt eliminating perks annually. Breakfast and lunch on the beach is wonderful, but dinners off site are a must. On site not good. Great beach and rooms."

"Staff — excellent. Food — very good. Location — amazing. But two minor quibbles. 1. Bar closes at 6 — right when I start thinking about a cocktail. There is a space above the reception that is set up like a bar but was never open the two times we stayed there. 2. Rooms are luxurious but there is no glass in the windows/doors so when it is hot (most of the time in Zihuatanejo) you have all the shutters closed for A/C so no view at all. But we had a lovely time. If you don’t care about a bar...

"The property was absolutely perfect in accommodating the three couples that formed our gathering … the piscina and beach were exactly what was needed to unwind …the stag at Tesoro, although not affiliated with VRBO , were very helpful and friendly … one of the highlights was Axel coordinating a cook to prepare us two traditional Mexican dinners ( one each week of our stay) in the well equipped kitchen in the unit. All in all, the best vacation our group has had in Ixtapa in years"
