"I loved A16. It is an ideal spot to start a trip to Tokyo. It was very easy to get to, coming from Narita Airport and there are LOTS of good, cheap dining options within a very short walk. "Value for money. Easy walk from Ueno exit. It’s abit of a walk from the gate but it’s easy to drag to luggage over to the exit and to the hostel. Bed and pillow is too hard for my liking but I stay only 1 night here so it’s fine. Bring your own towel! They charge a small amount for the towel. "

"Located near Kuramae Subway Station. Easy Acess from and to Haneda or Narita Airport. Property was just as described, but my husband wasn't too impressed with the lighting inside; it was a bit dark for him. Shared bathroom area was decent. A full sized mirror behind the door inside the room would be a nice touch. Ear plugs were provided as the sound proof was poor. You could hear conversation in the hallway. For budget travelers, this hostel serves its purpose. "
