"First time staying here and we will definitely be back. My son had brain surgery Emergent UCSF , we came in from Sacramento CA. I found the hotel while I was sitting in his pre-op room. I called and asked if we can check in early. The front desk manage (I believe); said yes and he had the room cleaned early for us. It was so quiet in the neighborhood. We will be back in a few months for his second surgery,and will be staying here again. Nice Management and staff. "

"I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the center and the price. It was comfortable and clean. The breakfast bar offered pastries, banana bread and fruit which I took to my room. It’s a simple affordable hotel providing basic amenities for a traveller on a budget! It also provided guests access to the swimming pool of its partner hotel across the street. "

"We had a short but enjoyable stay at the Beacon Grand. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome and well looked after. Special thanks to Alex and Angelo, who helped us with our luggage and ensured we were settled comfortably in our room. Their warm, professional manner and attention to detail left a lasting impression, and it was clear that guest comfort is a top priority at this hotel. Thank you again to Alex, Angelo and the team for your hospitality—we’ll definitely be back!"

"What a great historic hotel!! With the trolly line right outside, shopping near by, china town a few blocks walk away, so many dinning options of many varieties available. You can ride the trolly right to the waterfront pier 29, and fisherman’s ward as well as little Italy. The hotel itself was clean and well kept, especially for its age! Gotta love the history an old hotel has! Staff was friendly and helpful. We had a suite with 2 full bathrooms. The tubs we so big I may have taken 3 baths a day to soak my tired muscles from all the walking we did!:) "
