"Black Ivy is a lovely hotel in the center of Edinburgh right next to the Meadows. Its interior and exterior design is wonderful and artsy, with photography in the hallways and rooms. It's really a gem. Our room had a gorgeous park view out to the Meadows and onto the lovely skyline of Edinburgh. The room was clean and modern and had all the amenities (shampoo, shower gel, hair dryer, etc) and it is ecofriendly. The staff is excellent and super helpful. We had a great stay. Getting to the city activities took 30 minutes, but I'd take the peace and quiet here over being in the middle of everything, anytime.
