"Very well located and comfortable hotel with perfect views of Edinburgh Castle from the hotel restaurant and many rooms. Staff was attentive, friendly and accommodating. They definitely went out of their way to ensure it was an enjoyable stay. Room was pretty spacious and beds were comfortable. Only note is the bedding seemed a bit dated and could use some refreshing (stains and piling on several of the decorative pillows and piling on the comforters), but otherwise a great stay and would stay...

Went to the pool and spa area but it was far too busy( don’t know if that was the time we went 5pm or time of year) Breakfast in the morning was more than excellent with a wide variety on offer and they even had Haggis.
