"This is outside of where we normally stay (near SMN) but it was excellent. Great staff, you can buy food in the lobby & micro in the main room. We learned to take the bus to wherever we were headed for the day. There’s a killer gelato place at the Piazza Baccaria where we went daily. Easy walk to caffe and dolci because we didn’t want the available hotel breakfast. Good restaurants. A lot less touristy and better prices, yet only 3 blocks from the Arno. "Friendly staff, slightly dated furniture and bath fixtures in room. Excellent breakfast and breakfast room attendants, and helpful front desk staff. Walkable location to nearly all you need in the city center, including from train station. We appreciated the luggage storage when we arrived early, and felt very comfortable that the staff had our property stored securely for us. "

"The area directly around the hotel is dirty and there were people drinking and just hanging out outside (not guests). It is in a multipurpose building with a bit of a creepy vibe. However, it was priced well, there was paid parking outside, and it is just a short walk to the center or train station. "
