"The Doubletree is an excellent option for anyone interested in staying in downtown Poughkeepsie. I have stayed there on three different occasions in the last three months, each time for several days,and have always had a good experience. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the parking is free, access is convenient, there are great restaurants within a short walk, and it is only a short walk to the Poughkeepsie Bridge State Park, which is spectacular. Many rooms have a beautiful view over town to the Hudson River. For these reasons and more, I am looking forward to my next visit."

"The room is like a studio apartment. Big fridge with freezer, microwave, and stove. They also provide plates bowls cups and utensils. They are also pet friendly at an extra cost. Staff is great and pool is nice. The area is nice with the highway nearby. Ridge hill and cross county shopping centers are also nearby. "
