"The property was nice although some details were overlooked. There were loose threads hanging off the corners on many of the fabric items like pillows, rugs, and even the inside of the bathroom sink from how it was built, the overabundance of knickknacks were super dusty, and worst of all, the tub is DANGEROUS. It is completely smooth with no grips or safety railing. I slipped despite being young with good balance and and sprained both my shoulder and wrist. It threw me with enough force that I almost hit the toilet tank with my head. I saw other reviews mention how slippery it was, but this is ridiculous. The location of property was beautiful, although a bit overgrown. It was welcoming enough and not crazy with regulation, before getting hurt I would have given it 4 stars, but that tub is a lawsuit waiting to happen."

"The house is exactly as pictured, they really did a beautiful job with updating. The beds are SUPER comfortable. Central AC worked great, a must for our group. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need including a nice assortment of spices, olive oil, balsamic, there was even some coffee and creamer available. Great selection of games, movies, and awesome vintage records. The backyard is huge and there is a fire pit, although we didn’t use it. The back deck could use a little TLC and some comfy furniture, but we really enjoyed the outdoor space and the beautiful woods behind the house. We were in town for a concert at Bethel Woods (original site of Woodstock in 1969- very cool to see) and this house is only a few miles away. Also not far are a few restaurants right on the lake - Benji & Jake’s has great pizza, drinks, and a great view of the lake. The owner was very quick with answering questions and checked in to make sure we were doing ok, i appreciate that. Overall, excellent place to stay in Bethel/White lake, would definitely recommend!"

"Fantastic spot! Modern amenities (multiple shower jets and toilet seat options), extremely comfortable bed (we slept in the main bedroom), lovely open vista over the lake, and very convenient location if you’re in town for a concert at Bethel Arts, which we were. Host was friendly and communicative and the cleanup required when we left was minimal. Would definitely stay here again!"

"We really enjoyed the location of this place- so close to Bethel Woods for a concert. It's also close to Lake Superior State park. It was comfortable and as described. It was in a very quiet and safe location! It would be great if there was toilet paper (and one spare roll) and a box of tissues provided for guests. Since there are dishes provided (with soap and sponge), it would be good to provide a dish towel to dry them. It would be nice if someone would vacuum the spider webs in the corners of the room and the dead flies in the windowsills. There was also some grass on the floor and on the doormat upon entering the space. A dehumidifier would help with the musty smell. However, opening the windows helped! I would stay again!"

"Absolutely gorgeous home, very comfortable, had everything we needed. Location was exactly what we wanted, away from the hustle & bustle, quiet & serene. Nearby hiking was great (beginner level @ Walnut Mountain Park). Didn’t get to kayak in the lake/pond on the property as the water level was low, but we did get to fish and even caught some! Wonderful home away from home."
