"A few toothing problems upon arrival, but the host sorted. The room was generally comfy and clean, but could do with abit of TLC to make look better. Radiator wasn't consistently working, which was not nice in the morning. "

"Very large room and very clean but generally a bit tired. Weirdly no TV in the room, we didn’t need one but just surprised to find a room these days without one. Host very knowledgeable and welcoming. Would stay again."

"Jonathan welcomed us as we arrived. He gave us a full overview about the area, touring options and the house facilities. He was very considirate and we worked a breakfast that suited our kosher diet. The house is AMASING! huge bed, beutiful bathroom, everything is nicely decorated. We didn't come with a car so we used public transportation (Uber, train). It worked great."

"Michael is a gentleman, he was very quick to sort out an issue that arose during my stay. He went out of his way to do all he could to make the stay more relaxed and enjoyable. Please don't think you're paying for a hotel room at this price however, what I got I was more than happy with and while lots of people will complain, you get what you pay for. For Liverpool football fans this place is literally right next door! Look out the windows and you can literally reach out and touch the Stadium! "

"We spent 4 nights at The Braemar Hotel, Michael the host was there to greet us, he gave us local information of where to eat etc. We were travelling to Liverpool by train for the day and he was very helpful by giving directions to the train station and times of trains etc. The hotel itself was lovely, clean and had all the extras to make our stay comfortable. "Simon and Sue welcomed us as old friends of the family and after 2 days we thought we were. They are lovely people, very obliging, we had a fantastic breakfast included. They provided excellent advice on the sights of Liverpool and transport to and from, including the Mersey Ferry, Thankyou for the lift, and a personalised map. Every part of our stay was easy. We thank Simon and Sue for a wonderful stay. Pam and I can not recommend 2 The Rocklands highly enough. 10 out of 5 stars."
