"This is a wonderful, quiet, clean, beautifully landscaped property. The cottage is accurately described and the host has thought of and provided for every possible need. Gale is warm and friendly, most knowledgable about the island and does a terrific job of making sure her guests are comfortable. We would stay again! The property is a great value!"

"This cabin has everything you could ask for, including a lanai with a flock of Hawaiian pheasants nearby. It is, however, difficult to find in the dark (a common experience if you've just come from The Mainland). Written directions were not sufficient and assumed that the visitor had access to GPS. So, there was some fumbling around on our part that made us totally miss a spectacular sunset. Other than that initial experience, everything was fine. Stores and restaurants are near, but not...

"We love staying in the Captain Cook area, and this property was perfect! Well appointed, comfortable home with a great lanai. The coqui frogs will serenade you in the evening, chickens will do the same in the morning, and Kiko (a very friendly dog) will stop by to say hello once or twice a day. We will definitely hope to stay here again on future trips to the Big Island."

"Loved our stay here. It was the perfect spot a little off the beaten path that was a great home base for our adventures on the big island. Close enough to everything you need and far enough from the hoardes of tourists, with lots of little shops and spots to check out nearby. As for the space itself, it's super cozy and has an incredible ocean view from the screened in patio. Waking up to that view was one of the best parts of our trip. Would 100% stay here again."
