"Loved our stay here. It was the perfect spot a little off the beaten path that was a great home base for our adventures on the big island. Close enough to everything you need and far enough from the hoardes of tourists, with lots of little shops and spots to check out nearby. As for the space itself, it's super cozy and has an incredible ocean view from the screened in patio. Waking up to that view was one of the best parts of our trip. Would 100% stay here again."

"This is a beautiful property and very peaceful and calming. We had excellent communication with the manager who really helped us by arranging a washing machine when a prior renter had broken the machine at this cottage. Also, we forgot a ring that has much sentimental value (it got mixed up in the bedding while we were packing to leave). The housekeeper turned it in and the manager contacted us immediately to coordinate it's return. We were already on our way to another part of the island but...

"Loved everything about this place! The location is great. We walked across the street to watch the sunset every evening, always a stunning show. The house was easy to live in, equipped with everything we needed. We spent a lot of time on the lanai which looks toward the ocean. There’s beach equipment, and the beaches are a very short drive from the house. There’s also a park at the end of the street where you can get in the water if you’re on the more adventurous side. "Power outage 3 times. Cookware was vintage but stained. Parking was most challenging on a gravel driveway. Rental car kept getting stuck; thank goodness for nice neighbors. Rental was centrally located, i. e. close to Walmart, Costco, Target and laundromat. "

"We stayed over Christmas break 2024. We arrived and immediately checked out the beach. Saw the tide pools and turtles right away. We were sold. The water was not too rough because of the coral reef break. We usually stay on North shore of Oahu and water is not conducive to all ages and skill levels.
