"This rental is back from the coast, sits high enough to provide a great view and the perfect temperature. Located so going to the beach is easy, or traveling more inland. Hosts areare so helpful "

"After having stayed twice before without incident, I had a misunderstanding with the host. On the positive side, this apartment has a nice, well-equipped kitchen, a spacious living room and porch, and a large, but tricky to operate shower. On the negative side, the driveway is steep, and the parking very tight and limited. The towels smell of mildew. "The studio was private, clean, and offered nice amenities. You can tell a lot of care and attention to detail went into the place. The owners were very responsive. We felt very welcome when we arrived, finding a treat and local music playing. The Plumeria cottage was a great place for our two night stay in Kona and had everything needed for someone staying longer. Thank you!"

"Nice condo, well equipped with everything we needed. Ocean view balance was great and where we spent most of our time watching the waves and even a few whales! Location was pretty good. About 1 mile walk to shops and restaurants. We had a car but some of the lots were $27+ for 2 hours. The checking & checkout is weird but we were warned in advance. The desk is only open from 8:30-5.
