"We really enjoyed our stay here. Of all the places we have been over 7 months in Southeast Asia, this is the one place I felt actually went above and beyond in terms of customer service! We enjoyed the free bikes and appreciated Lily giving us a map of things to do in the area. She also arranged our sleeper bus, while allowing us to stay in a vacant room that day. She literally put us on the bus and i'm so grateful for a positive experience. The room was clean, but is worth noting the bathroom...

"The property and family that run it are great. I chose the property for it's quiet location after the chaos of Hanoi. Unfortunately construction work very near by was very loud during the day starting early in the morning and going on all day. Very sad for the business. They did provide ear plugs but didn't really fix the issues 🌺"

"What an awesome stay. We had issues with our prior stay in Tam Coc, had to book last minute. Was greeted by the family. She checked us into our private rooms. Super nice and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and just a short walk to one of the main areas. The breakfast was included in the morning. It was decent. The family was all there helping and it actually brought a smile to my face seeing the babies run around while the adults tended to the propertyand guests. We ended up renting...

"The place is kind of charming because it’s all made of bamboo. However, the view of our bungalow was on the sewer so we didnt spend much time on the balcony. Also, the shower drain was blocked. You know how fun that can be!! Other then that, bed is huge and comfy and staff is helpful."

"I’d been recommended to stay here by my daughter, who had stayed here six months earlier. It’s very central to Tam Coc, just a seven minute walk to all the restaurants etc. I’m pleased I took her advice. I had booked a room for myself, but dorms are available. "

"Highly Recommended – Perfect Stay by the River We had an amazing stay at River View Homestay. The kindness of the family made us feel truly welcome, always attentive beyond just breakfast. The room was spotlessly clean, with a spacious bedroom and an immaculate bathroom. The location is ideal—just 2 minutes from Tam Coc center, yet peaceful by the river, with great restaurants and cafés nearby. A perfect mix of hospitality, comfort, and serenity—highly recommended!"

"The family that runs this hotel is wonderful. They truly made the experience. The hotel room was simple but comfortable. There were great public spaces to relax in."

"Staff is very friendly and very helpful. They gave me a great tour on a moto of the surrounding tourist sites, cooked me delicious breakfast every morning, and gave me some free wine every night. My room was clean, toilet and shower works great, and plenty of hot water. The surrounding city/village is beautiful. They assisted me in booking my next bus to Sapa village. "

"Very nice place with super central location. Breakfast was good but what we value the most was the staff and service we received. We were able to store our bags in the hotel lobby two days before actually check in as we were going to Sa Pa and didn’t want to bring them with us. Everyone at the front desk were nice and helpful, especially Jenny took special care of us."

"Great stay at this hotel. Room was excellent, restaurant was top notch with very good breakfast. Location was good with easy walk to train street, shopping, etc. Staff at this hotel is best I've encountered in a long time. Absolutely amazing service. Not just smiling faces but they genuinely care and go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. They have a great concierge and I highly recommend you talk to them about tours, cruises, etc while planning your trip. They are honest and sincere about helping you enjoy your holiday the best."
