No headboard on the bed so sat up against the wall with the one pillow available Earliest breakfast 08:00 so despite paying with the booking was unable to get food before having to leave for work. "

"Was travelling for work and found the staff to be first rate. Lovely grounds, tasty and well presented food as well as a good breakfast (served from 7.30, which was nice as often I'm out early for work and miss hotel breakfasts!). The room itself was quite small, but I did order the basic barn room. More than made up for big a comfy bed and a good quality bathroom. Will stay again if I'm back in the area."

"1 night business stay. The property is an older property with creaky floorboards and a few stairs internally between various levels. The room was nicely presented and the bathroom had a large walk in shower, everything was very clean and comfortable. There was tea/coffee making facilities in the room and TV on the wall.
