"This was a great place to stay for access to Balboa Park. It has everything you need within walking distance without a car, just as I wanted. My only quibble is that it did not note that there is a big step up to the bathroom which might be a challenge for some people. Otherwise, it had everything I needed and was comfortable when I was "rained in", which does happen in San Diego at times."

"Superior communication of check-in and check-out process. The house was clean and cute. Well maintained. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of towels. Fit our group with no problem. Everything worked and the living spaces were very comfortable. Hot tub was a fun touch. Neighborhood also had a close grocery store. One heads up - there is one "california" size parking spot for the home. We only had one vehicle so we were good. However, a large SUV may overhang the sidewalk. There is street parking via...

"The Buddha House is calm and relaxing, with great outdoor spaces. So nice to read a book or have a beer on one of the decks hidden in the trees. At the same time just a couple blocks from Vons, coffee shops, restaurants, and perfect access to almost every neighborhood. Our host was super accommodating when we needed it!"
