"We loved this ryokan experience! It had everything we were hoping for. Dinner and breakfast were magnificent, the multi-course meals had us full and pleasantly surprised. We love the private onsen and yukata as well The staff here were super helpful and wanted us to have a nice stay. Most of them can help in basic English, but there were a few who you have to take out the translator for which was not a big issue"

"Very nice view of the lake. Very helpful staff. The rooms have a private onsen hot tub on the balcony. The rooms have tatami and are set up to sleep on the floor. You can request a bed frame to elevate the futon, but it's better to request a bed when making the reservation (although you may enjoy sleeping on a futon, Japanese style)."

"There was a great arrival welcome feature of free wine and beverages. My room had plenty of local welcome snacks plus beer, whiskey complimentary. Onsen was beautiful indoors and out. "Very tradition Ryokan (Japanese Hotspring hotel) with all the warm welcoming and attentive service you could ask for. The Ryokan only has few rooms So that they could serve the guests with the best quality! The hot spring is not as big as expect but still with very good quality. Definitely one of the finest Ryokan I have ever stayed!"
