"The Royal Oak was clean and tidy , everything you would expect for a pub. The room was a nice size and was comfortable enough. The staff were really helpful and very pleasant. The Royal Oak is quite central so you can easily walk to everywhere in the small village. The breakfast was traditional English breakfast and was of standard fare. It was very cheap to stay for the night and would recommend if passing through Chapel area."

"Stayed 2 nights in Feb. Very comfortable bed and well presented room. The Inn itself was quiet and so lacked a little atmosphere but then it was mid-week. The food was excellent, I especially liked the salmon and the mushroom risotto was splendid. We would have eaten there again on the second night but the vegetarian options were limited. "My family and I stayed here for one night. It was good value for money, with all mod cons, very clean and even a had a hot tub. The main bed is a huge 4 poster and very comfortable. I would stay again 👍"
