"Hotel in a good location for visiting Durham, everything within walking distance. Friendly & helpful reception staff. Comfortable & clean. Didn't have the breakfast there, walked over footbridge to The Bishops Mill Wetherspoons for breakfast"

"We had an executive room, which was a fantastic size. There was a lounge area, a good size desk, bathroom had a bath with a powerful shower and the bed was extremely comfortable. There was a minibar in the room, an ironing board and iron and reasonable wardrobe space if you were staying for any period of time. We parked the car in the car park which had enough spaces, even on a weekend although the spaces were tiny and hard to get in and out the car. The restaurant was quiet (no music or ambiance) but the food was delicious. The hotel had a gym which looked substantial - unfortunately on this occasion we didn't have time to utilize this service. Highly recommended and would stay again. "
