Enjoyed some good food in the pub along with a very drinkable bottle of red. Great atmosphere. Bed was very comfortable. It is only self serve continental breakfast of cereal, yoghurt and toast. But price we paid was ok for that. Bad points - road was noisy but ear plugs sorted that out. Also need an eye...

"The hotel is lovely and in a great location. Easy walk to town. Breakfast was great and staff friendly. The only negative was the shower. There was no hand unit so showering was a little uncomfortable."

"It is a bit of a mixed bag review - the staff and catering were good but the accommodation is not as shown on the web site - the room was small and the bathroom smaller yet. a cupboard in reality. the carpet leading to the bedrooms needed a good clean or replacement which made the whole place look scruffy and dated yet the bar and restaurant quite cosy."
