A lovely hotel, full of character in the heart of Tewkesbury. The room was very comfortable, and spotlessly clean. I was impressed at how bottled water and tea bags etc were topped up everyday (not something that happens in every hotel in my experience). The staff were very friendly, helpful and obliging, nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant had a good selection of dishes for dinner. The hotel is close to the bus stop for Cheltenham and Gloucester.

Lovely room with a view of the river. Beautiful decor and the radio was much appreciated. Friendly hotel staff both at check in and at the bar. Room was warm and cosy and felt homely. Only downside was a few housekeeping issues but they did not affect our stay and the room was clean otherwise. Also the car parking situation which we were aware of prior to booking is something to consider if your not happy walking from an alternative car park. Looking forward to staying at the Tudor again soon.

What lovely warm welcome we had at this hotel from the receptionist, we arrived earlier than we thought and went in to ask if ok to park the car , what a nice surprise our room was actually ready ! The room was so clean smelt lovely and had tea coffee (nespresso machine) hot choc and biscuits! There was a radio in the room playing music which is a nice touch ! We didn’t eat here but had a drink in the cosy bar , again really friendly and welcoming staff! The town and shops are right on the doorstep definitely a perfect location and walking distance to shops restaurants and the Abbey! We will def be back and recommend you stay here we loved it !!

A comfortable one night stay
I had a lovely stay at the Tudor House Hotel The staff were friendly, the breakfast was good and the room was comfortable I had booked a single room with a single bed but was pleasantly surprised to see I had been given a double bed. Overall I would stay here again

The smart tv would not connect to the Wi-Fi . All the staff where friendly and trued to help when I reported it One member came to the room to resolve the issues. I left him there with the key as I already spent an hour myself trying to sort it out, with no joy. This was about 6:00 pm. When we got back 10ish he said he could not sort it out and advised me to goggle the problem . This spoiled the night as we where looking forward to a movie on Netflix.
