"Lovely 3 night stay, staff are very nice. Rooms are not very spacious, but clean and beds are comfortable. though we had a room that faced the parking area, the trees around make it nice. Speaking of parking, there's limited parking at the premise, so if you stay over the weekend - might have to park at the zoo parking lot and pay a fee as hotel parking is first come first serve. Overall, very convenient, with bus stop to city center right outside the hotel - easy to get to city center yet away from the hustle and bustle. "

"Apex Grassmarket is an outstanding hotel. Very nice staff that went out of there way to welcome us and make us comfortable...especially Thyna. She went above and beyond in changing our room to one with a walk in shower so I didn't have to step into a very high walled tub to shower. We had a great 4 day stay, comfortable rooms, great breakfasts and very close to the major attractions so walking everywhere was possible. A big plus is some great restaurants, pubs, shopping and a wonderful ice cream shop right across the street. We'll be back next year!!!"

"This is a nice hotel within walking distance from Old Town and therefore major attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but that's the case with most hotels in major cities in Europe. "

"Very nicely furnished and clean. Fantastic bakery/cafe across the street. While it wasn't super close to attractiions there was a Tesco, a fantastic bakery and some small businesses nearby to walk to. The hospitality was very good, some very nice younger stafffers made us feel very welcome. Just be aware there's no lift so if you have a lot of luggage it's something to consider. "
