"I felt comfortable, despite initial problem with my reservation through Expedia (which took 3 calls to resolve), and some construction noise. I stayed 4 nights in the 6bed dorm room. I miss the hostel dog Amazon, the most. It's a very basic hostel but staff/volunteers/owner/guests were very nice. "This hotel, in my opinion, does not deserve three stars. The room I stayed in was very sparse, cheaply furnished, and outdated. AC was old and weak and went out during the heat of the day. Hot water was intermittent. No microwave. See you furnishings and what there were were very cheap. Bed was not very comfortable. Hotel is in a rough area, but gated. Pool area seemed nice. Rooms definitely need attention."
