The front door and room having electronic keypad with codes was very handy meaning no need to check in and easy access in and out. More than enough space for the two of us. Room was bright and airy. Due to the location of the hotel I think this is definitely more of a seasonal hotel, however this didn’t impact my opinion of it, the service was great, room was lovely and the food (both breakfast and dinner) was incredible! "We had a lovely time at the Tiger Inn East Dean celebrating my friends birthday. The room was cosy and very pretty, it had everything we needed. The shower was powerful and hot which we enjoyed. The breakfast was great neither of us needed lunch after it. The village of East Dean is charming and has many original features. We ate dinner at the Tiger Inn and had a lunch at Hikers Rest. We didn't have time to visit the Thai restaurant that we heard was good or the deli cafe."

"This is a property from the 1800's so this should give you an idea of what to expect. Lots of grand original features and very traditional. My room was spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. The hosts were an absolute joy to be around and provided great company and conversation. Breakfast was delicious and set me up nicely for the day. I would recommend without hesitation and I look forward to staying again. "
