"We had a really wonderful time at The New Inn! The location was perfect - right in the middle of Winchelsea which is a quiet, beautiful little town, but only a 5/10 minute drive to Rye. The room was lovely and really comfortable - one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in! The food was great, and the staff were really lovely and helpful. All in all a fantastic stay - I'd have no hesitations returning or recommending to a friend :) "

"This is a property from the 1800's so this should give you an idea of what to expect. Lots of grand original features and very traditional. My room was spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. The hosts were an absolute joy to be around and provided great company and conversation. Breakfast was delicious and set me up nicely for the day. "A forbidding looking picture of the hotel in what has been described as the "most haunted village in England" (!) turned out to be a very comfortable stay with an excellent dinner and breakfast. Highly recommended."
