"Another comfortable stay at this brilliant hotel. Have stayed here many times, usually a couple of times a month for several years now. Cleanliness is 100%. The showers are absolutely sparkling, the rooms are very well equipped with a working tv, hairdryers, tea and coffee making facilities , wall mounted fan and even a bottle opener. Beds are good quality as is the white bedding and towels. The hotel is a couple of hundred yards from Marble Arch tube station at the west end of Oxford Street. "

"The room was nice and cosy, with lovely fireplace character. The sheets and towels were crispy clean and ironed. The private bathroom was great with warm tile floor as well. My remarks - one of the steps leading to the bathroom had a torn off carpet, so it was sliding. There was a little bit of dust here and there. Other than these, my stay at The Stag was very enjoyable. "

When I arrived the guy on the desk said 3 nights for 3 people (I corrected him - 2 nights for 1 person) I was then shown to a single room which I assume he hadn’t planned to give me. "Arrived very late, flight delays and then a road closure forcing a substantial detour. Thankfully my room card had been left out with a useful note and I was able to access the room.
