"We booked last minute due to having to cancel our trip into France because they closed the station due to finding an unexploded bomb from WWII. With that being said it was our first time staying in a hostel and we were pleasantly surprised how nice it was. The rooms are small of course if you are traveling with lots of luggage which we were. "Bermonds Locke is a treasure. The location is fantastic - very safe and a 5-minute walk from Tower Bridge and only a 10-minute walk to the trains and underground. Access from Gatwick on the train is simple and convenient. There are lots of dining options nearby. The unit was clean, and there are nearby grocery places if you prefer breakfast in.
