"Our second visit to the property was beautiful and peaceful as before. I would prefer the rooms to be cleaned after10am allowing time to shower, enjoy breakfast and to tidy away our personal belongings for the cleaner. We particularly liked the pretty setting and the authentic Canarian country house atmosphere. The tea and coffee facilities available to guests was really helpful too."

The room had no view but I say it has city views and a patio because the rooftop is accessible with chairs, table, sofa, sun loungers, shower, kitchen and bathroom (yes, all on the rooftop) There were two bathrooms next to my bedroom, each section of the house has three rooms with a kitchen, so although the facilities are shared, this was no bother. "We stayed for 2 nights. The ocean facing room is beautiful and traditionally old fashioned in a large Canarian town house which conveniently has a patisserie within the inner courtyard. Swimming areas are also a short walk away. The friendly owners made sure we had everything that we required on check in."

"Really enjoyed this property! The views were gorgeous, and it is a convenient spot if you want to drive up to El Teide. The area was really quiet, peaceful, and private. The host was very responsive and helpful for local tips/suggestions. The bedrooms are very cozy as well! The property is up in the hills so be prepared for a steep climb up the road before getting to the driveway (depending on which way you come from), but there was no problem using the rental car to get up there and had an...

"3 night stay, quiet room close to a fine restaurant and a cosy wee bar. Room was comfortable and well equipped. Good walks in the park just between San Pedro and the sea. Good location for a car journey to Mont Teide and its’ National Park. Attentive and friendly hoteliers."

"Very friendly hosts, willing and helpful with any queries. Went on the stargazing trip. We were very lucky, skies cleared and we had an amazing experience. Otherwise weather cloudy and wet, unfortunately. Many thanks to Angela and Steve who make great efforts to make guests welcome and comfortable, constantly working on improving hotel facilities."

"Well for a start waited 2 hours for check in but nobody turned up.2 dogs pooing in the driveway on arrival they looked like strays, looking around the pool was dirty , the next door property had at least 9 cats we counted, cost me 60 euros and the cost of another horel so my granson and myself had to find another hotel, i was there to scatter my wifes ashes so really not pkeased,"

There is a very good grocery store on the property with good selection. I liked the free shuttle options between Ritz and Las Terrazas. It’s worth to check some of the restaurants in Ritz as well. And the golf courses are stunning! Loved the breakfast as well :)"

"Great room! Lovely big bed. The golf view terrace with sun loungers was amazing if you wanted an alternative to pool side. Great pool area with one accessible pool via ramp. Indian restaurant located in hotel was pretty good. Unfortunately multiple balcony door locks where broken meaning the room was unsecure. This was fixed after asking at reception within a couple of hours. Not ideal as this should be checked by hotel but happy the issue was resolved. Expensive hotel shop but loads of choice within a 20 minute walk. Would stay again!"

"amazing value for money. I couldn't recommend it more. it's an architectural marvel which perfectly blends into the surrounding. It's nearby one of the best beaches ok the island. It also offers amazing sunsets and stunning ocean views with nearby island gomera in the background. The quality of service is outstanding. we always felt wholeheartedly welcome and all staff was attentive to our needs. it exceeded all my expectations and I'm surely coming again hopefully soon 👌"

Wonderful stay at the Meliá

"It is a lovely hotel with great facilities for adults. The check-in was very good and lovely helpful staff. Our junior suite was a great size with a balcony overlooking the pool. We were staying half board and the food especially at breakfast was excellent. There was the opportunity to sit outside on the terrace which was very nice indeed as the views were amazing. The pool area was lovely and we managed to get sun loungers each morning. Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely return or visit another Meliá hotel. "
