"Hidden away off a quiet roadway, tucked behind a small hotel is this amazing property. Out the back yard is and endless stretch of rainforest. Cows and horses graze out the front yard.My wife and I spent most of each day on the front deck, accompanied by dozens of birds. She migrated between hammocks based on the position of the sun while I sat at the table. "The home was clean and well stocked with basic necessities which was appreciated. The owner was easy to get in touch with. The beds were comfortable with lots of pillows and blankets. The only things I didnt like were the showers didnt get warm at all and there were a lot of tiny ants in the kitchen, making it hard to prepare food. Other than that, we had a very nice time. The backyard is beautiful with the river and lots of plants. "

"My daughter and I flew to Costa Rica for a long weekend to visit my son who is in college in San Jose for the semester. This property was perfect for our little reunion. Plenty of space, beautiful views way up in the hills, and a pool. The owners were very helpful and charming. Liked that the house had a local flavor and not generic like most hotels and many other rentals were. Nice restaurants in town. Was central to our day trips."
