Elias as the caretaker and contact was perfect. Plan on a few days at the Villa without traveling everyday. Would recommend seeing Poás volcano and a trip to the beach at Jaco. Both very easy in a day trip. Many very good places to eat in the town of Atenas. "

"My husband and I enjoyed our 8 nights here. Peaceful and easy to just relax. Close to everything in town but secluded perch to enjoy your time away. Of course, Piet & Yvonne are amazing, we love staying at one of their properties. Only thing I would change is having the gardeners descend on the property for 4-5 hours one morning during our stay. The exhaust from the power tools made it so we had to close up the house. They are all over, even right outside the bedrooms so we could not enjoy the...

"This was our first visit to beautiful Costa Rica. We stayed only a few days in San Jose before we ended our trip on the Pacific side.There were 7 of us traveling together for a family reunion and this hacienda was perfect for us! Plenty of room and easy to get around. The home had everything we could need; full kitchen, washer and dryer, toiletries too. And a huge, well taken care of, yard and garden. The bonus was the neighborhood that has loads of shops, restaurants, food stands and groceries,...
