"Location is great. Facilities are great. Front desk great. Felt that hot water did not last sufficiently long for a family of 4. Had golf cart parked on our parking space and when we tried driving around it to get to our unit we scratched car on the hedges which is unfortunate as it is a rental car. Some issues with bugs getting into the house which we had to remove as one of the members in our family was bug phobic. "

The only change I would make is the pool is actually not big enough to be a swimming pool, more like a pool for cooling off and so should be advertised as such. Raul was the most helpful and friendly host - he even pulled our car out of a ditch! Lillian's dinner was from heaven - perfect meal for our family after arriving from a long day of travel. "Our family had a great time in La Fortuna! The check in process was straightforward and Karen was very responsive anytime we needed to contact her. We had a little issue with the safe and Karen arrived within the hour to give us the key and resolve the issue.
