"We loved the location in town and the pool was lovely. We found the staff got friendlier as the week went on. It was a bit annoying that guests went out early and put towels on the chairs even if they didn’t use them for hours.. we rarely got a chair at the beach or pool. "

"The room was typical older mexican style but very clean, functional with good a/c. The grounds were beautifuly kept with a manucured botanical garden that I enjoyed everyday. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would like to say thank you to Carlos for all his help. He was the best!"

"My stay at this property was fantastic, we had no setbacks. The service was very good, the people very friendly and helpful at all times. We felt very comfortable and happy in this place. "This property was everything we had expected. We knew it was an older Mexican hotel and that is exactly what we were looking for when we booked. It was very quiet except at night as we had read in reviews you could hear the bars down the hill but this did not affect us. We still slept with the patio doors open. "Room and bed were comfortable. Surprisingly quiet for the city, we were expecting much more noise. Breakfast was simple yogurt granola fruit and toast. We thought we would, but never used the pool because it was shady and cold. But very close to the beach and restaurants, even tried the restaurant, Kitty Cat, which I highly recommend! Roof top was enjoyable with a little view of the ocean. Place is a little dated but we assumed this. Was perfectly comfortable and affordable for our needs. "

The building is a set of built up levels, about 6, from beach at the bottom to quiet back street at the top, with authentic charm and eclectic styling in each room. "Esmeralda at the check-in counter has excellent customer service skills! She was helpful, conscientious and knowledgeable. We asked for an ocean view upgrade and, while it was a little more costly per day, we were grateful for the wonderful views. An added plus was the beautiful pink flowers on our balcony. "

"Absolutely amazing time. Completely exceeded our expectations. The On-Site restaurants were outstanding. Don Quijote was our favorite, but the other 3 were very good. The Los Arcos Lunch was fabulous, the Taco Bar is a must visit(Thank You Jesus for great Service). Le Fuente offered a great buffet overall, Breakfast Omelet Station was fantastic. The Activity staff(Anahi, Denise, Isabel, Fernando) did not pressure you but were the most entertaining people of our whole trip. The Resort was super clean and the staff was always attentive to our needs. Thank you for an Outstanding Vacation....We will be back."
