"The pros: - The location is very convenient to the Old City and Reading Terminal Market, and lots of restaurants in Chinatown. - The owner was very responsive and helpful. - There’s plenty of space. The cons: - No elevator — and 53 stairs. - Very little natural light. It’s a long narrow apartment with a couple of windows at each end (looking out on a narrow shaft). "Very nice and comfortable stay in a beautiful historic building. Having safe and secure free parking attached to the building was a major draw! Not having to worry about finding a parking spot and paying additional parking fees in the city alleviated unnecessary stress. Our stay was due to a family member having surgery with a week long hospital stay at the nearby Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
