"Shutters is our favorite place to stay at the Outer Banks. Awesome value for the room and being right on the beach. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and just what you need for a stay at the beach. The rooms are a little basic, but there's nice beach art on the walls. Beds are comfortable. The staff is so friendly and accomodating. The access to the beach is easy to get to. It's centrally located to everything you need. They are my first choice any time I am headed to the beach!"

Beds are small and the mattress is not thick enough to reach the headboard so it creates a space between that the pillow falls through. Beds are not that comfortable but everything else was pleasant.
