"Nice hotel if lacking a bit of character. Room was ok. It was facing the main road so a bit noisy - no chance of a lie in if you wanted one especially on the Monday. Very comfortable bed and very clean. A little on the cold side for my liking but was offered extra blankets if I wanted. The bathroom was really quite cold even with the heated rail on. "Love the quirky historic artefacts displayed around - suits the age of the property. Spacious and really clean room and bathroom, super comfortable bed. Great breakfast too and such reasonable pricing. Nice welcome and very helpful staff. Conveniently close to The Robin for our gig. Glad to have found this hotel and will definitely be returning."

"Our room wash really nice, everything as expected. Unfortunately the occupants in the next room were shouting and making too much noise at 2am but the night team soon sorted that out. Food in the bar was very tasty and good value. Will definitely stay again. "

"Great location for town centre visit friendly staff on site and they also have a few board games in the bar great atmosphere felt very relaxed here and managed to catch some rugby and darts too!"
