"Check in instructions were clear and came in plenty of time. Mick greeted us upon arrival as he lives a few doors down. Parking was ample and felt secure off the road in a private car park. The house was very clean and well catered for. It had Virgin TV with most channels available, which was a welcome addition. The only issue we had was getting a WiFi signal, which we needed to be near the front window for. I assume this may be because the extender wasn't working correctly to pick up the signal...

We were very pleased with the little extras that the owners have available like tea & coffee. 40 mins from Alton Towers was very handy with a Tesco enroute so we could get any bits we needed. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again in the future when in the area. "

"Enjoyed our stay. No instructions provided to open the manual lockbox to get the key to enter the property. After a long delay we found a video on Google & happy we opened the lockbox. Comparing this property with our other self catering stays, this property does not provide toilet rolls. "

The wifi wasn’t working most of the time, our host was trying to sort it out but with no phone service either it was a bit of a problem, otherwise all just as we had hoped, we would very much like to revisit"
