"Our room was really nice, clean and comfortable. The food was nice. We came with our dog but even though the hotel states that it is dog friendly, it is really we let you bring your dog. There was an area to eat when you have a dog (which was fully booked on the Friday) so we sat in the bar area which had a good atmosphere. "Quaint pub dating from around 1729 in the Gunsmith quarter of Birmingham. As I was waiting outside to check in, there was a walking group from a historical tour who passed by and the leader gave a commentary on the pub. Booked a triple room with en-suite which also had coffee making facilities. The pub will store your luggage for you. The only problem was that you cannot check in until 12 noon, and I needed to check in luggage before then as I had an event to attend and couldn’t take the...

"It was an amazing stay except feeling cold towards midnight (heater isn't on), attic room with adequate blanket (wish there is extra or some portable heater provided if needed for extra warmthness. Very clean, smooth check in and exemplary service as the lady go extra length to get me an electrical socket adapter for my phone charger. I also forgot to ask what is the code to dining room. "

Some of tbe finish of the room refurbishment was a bit poor diy rather than professional but for what we paid we were more than happy satisfied. "Quiet with excellent dining options, high ceilings in rooms, well-equpped bathrooms. Staff helpful. No desk in room for working, some cracked plaster in room but very clean and well-appointed."
