"Very nice stay. The place is beautiful, calm, relaxing. The house has been recently renovated and everything was super clean. A lot of nice details -the board games were a hit with the kids! It’s a new listing, so maybe a couple of minor details they need to smooth out, but 100% recommend. I booked when there were still no reviews, which I never do, and now I’m glad I did."

"The location and accommodations are beautiful. Out in the country but minutes from Longwood Gardens, Brandywine River Museum, and Winterthur. There was a plumbing issue and the hosts did everything they could to resolve it, and were very forthcoming and accommodating. It was disappointing but based on the property and the professionalism of the hosts I would definitely stay in the future."

The home was meticulously clean and had every comfort one could want - plenty of extra towels and blankets, a well-stocked kitchen with some of the necessities like paper products and dish liquid, and even a welcome basket. It was quiet and restful - with only the bird song in the morning"

"Laurie is the absolute most amazing host! You'll never find a host that is more gracious or accommodating or generous! She went out of her way to make our stay special and to work with us to make it all we wanted it to be. Her communication is excellent and she's very responsive. The house is a wonderful, clean and inviting space with great spaces for groups to gather. My group of 10 often spent time in the kitchen or on the patio. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the horses and goats...

"Richard and all of his family and staff helped coordinate things for months to allow my husband and I to have the best wedding! We had family and friends stay at the house with us and Richard allowed us to visit the property a few times before our stay to walk the property and allow our tent rental property to find the best spot for our tent. The grounds are well kept, the alpacas really are friendly, and the house was big enough to accommodate our needs. I would definitely recommend and come...
