"Very quaint, historic hotel. Some updates to bathroom noted, but still small. Faint musty smell to the room, but i guess you'll have that with a hotel that old. Would be better without carpet. Enjoyed the complimentary brandy, added to the charm of the room"

"No vacancy. I had a reservation. When I tried to register, door locked. Note saying call this long distance no.. It's 90 outside temp. No call back. I see another note pasted to another window to call this other no. for registration. Manager finally showed up. Surly. I was given a room where a ladder was in front of my window and all parking spaces taken by construction crew. I asked for another room - again he was surly. No more rooms, he said. No one else complained. he said. ...
