"2泊させていただきました。施設はとてもきれいでお掃除が行き届いていました。お風呂は少しぬるめでよかったです。(私は熱いお風呂に入る習慣のない国にすんでいるため、ちょうどよかったです。洗い場は少し寒い気がしましたが、苦情するほどではありません。お部屋は２人でちょうど良い広さです。玄関の靴を脱ぐ場所がぎりぎりの狭さでした。枕が一人につき2つ付いていたのは嬉しかったです。朝食はとても美味しかった。特に豆のサラダ、ミネストローネ、ニンジンのドレッシング、リンゴのジャムが美味しくておかわりをしてしまいました。エコに徹底していてよかったです。夜うるさいお客さんとかもいなくてよく休むことができました。ありがとうございました。"

"My family and I stayed here two nights just before Christmas. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The owner offers a shuttle bus during the morning hours to Gora Station, which is very helpful for getting to Hakone ropeway. Local restaurants were a bit unaccessible as it was off-season but this inn has its own great little restaurant kitchen. We had two dinners here and tried almost everything on the menu. "Staff are friendly and helpful, kitchen for cooking your own pwn meals is useful, all oils and sauces provided too. bar area is nice. Bathroom facilities are fine, seemed clean. Coin operated washer and dryer is very handy. Can smell because of sulphur onsens in the area. Very basic but i guess cheap for the area of Gora? Size of family room was good. "Our host (Tai) was very friendly and helpful, the facilities were clean, the location was excellent (very close to Gora Station) and it was affordable. The place could use a little fixing up. At least one bathroom stall was closed (inoperable), one shower operable but needed fixing, and in the rock onsen, one of the shower hoses was leaking. Great for budget but could be better if some maintenance was done."

"This review is specifically for room number 0, the twin room (bunk bed). The top bunk bed was uncomfortable. Whether you put your head on one side (right next to the AC) or the other (next to a wall indent with MOLD) it is impossible to sleep. As for the changing rooms (connected to the showers), they also have mold on the walls. The exhaust fans in the toilet rooms barely work resulting in a perpetual unpleasant smell. "We loved our time at Fuji Guesthouse. We stayed in their traditional Japanese room, which was spacious for the two of us the night before we began our Mt. Fuji ascent. Both staff members we interacted with were not only kind during our stay, but extended their hospitality beyond it, offering us to store our luggage while we were on the mountain, and allowing us to shower upon our return. It was a great experience in a small town. Next time I find myself in Fujikawaguchiko, I will certainly try...

"The owner was an absolute gem, very accomodating. Picked me up and dropped me off at the station. Full of great suggeations on what to do. Plus there is an amazing view of Mt. Fuji."

"The staff spoke great English and were super friendly. We enjoyed both the public onsen options, both really different, clean, relaxing, had great bath prody, and were fun to experience. The traditional breakfast was the best we had. Only complaint might be that the mattresses were pretty thin, but we were only there one night, so it was fine. Overall amazing experience!"

"We enjoyed our stay in this hotel/ryokan, it has clean and spacious room with private onsen. There is a Family Mart right beside it which is great. The other dining options nearby are about 20min walk away, so it will be better to drive. The hotel does offer dinner at it's restaurant but you need to reserve before 7pm the day before you want to dine there. We took the option with breakfast which is the usual Japanese spread with seasonal fish. Will stay here again for sure."
