"We loved our time at Fuji Guesthouse. We stayed in their traditional Japanese room, which was spacious for the two of us the night before we began our Mt. Fuji ascent. Both staff members we interacted with were not only kind during our stay, but extended their hospitality beyond it, offering us to store our luggage while we were on the mountain, and allowing us to shower upon our return. It was a great experience in a small town. Next time I find myself in Fujikawaguchiko, I will certainly try...

"Awesome architectural and design wonder. Friendly, interesting, conversational host. Played Flamenco guitar, talked music, design, and math with us. Also had a great conversation about the local area and some of the cool people who live in the town. Overall a unique and amazing experience! Thanks!"

"It was alright, as a capsule hotel, somehow each bunk should be sound proof. But for the service and and cap space are considerable okay. "

"This is the best possible place you can stay in when you are in the Kawaguchiko area. At $50 a night, the full on view you get of Mt Fuji is priceless. Beautiful private room (if you opt for that) which is clean and cosy. The only con is that it’s a shared bathroom but it was equipped with real good soap and conditioner and clean as well. Highly recommended. "

"If we could rate higher than excellent we would. The host is the nicest person ever. The beds were so comfortable, and they had the best western style pillows. A small selection of free breakfast items were offered which was fantastic. Location was so close to Fujisan station, and it was really clean."
