The apartment was perfect and in a great location for experiencing everything the town has to offer- walking distance to the shops, restaurants, wine tram, and grocery store. "We returned to The Clermot again this year and stayed in the same room. We love the peacefulness and the view from the room is stunning. Breakfast seemed a tad disorganised this time (one day no bowls, another no jams, then no napkins) Our room.had a patch on the ceiling that had been repaired but not painted, the large lamp.didnt work( maybe bulb needs replacing) & one of the curtains had a water.stain. Nothing major just small.things - it wouldnt stop us from returning. "

"The property is simply stunning. It’s so charming and the staff are wonderful. It’s a 20 min walk from the Main Street in Franschoek or a few pounds in an Uber. Don’t use the recommended car service from the hotel as it was 3 x more expensive than an Uber. Out toom eas lovely with a small kitchen are and separate dressing room and bathroom with both a huge bath and a separate shower. The buffet breakfast was lovely and the views even better! "
