"We returned to The Clermot again this year and stayed in the same room. We love the peacefulness and the view from the room is stunning. Breakfast seemed a tad disorganised this time (one day no bowls, another no jams, then no napkins) Our room.had a patch on the ceiling that had been repaired but not painted, the large lamp.didnt work( maybe bulb needs replacing) & one of the curtains had a water.stain. Nothing major just small.things - it wouldnt stop us from returning. "

"This hotel is a fantastic base for a visit to the wine region. The hotel is a short drive from Franschhoek with the hotel providing an excellent shuttle bus service. The staff could not be any more friendly or obliging if they tried and we really felt at home here. The only gripe is that the pool beds are not that comfortable but otherwise this a hotel I would highly recommend and will definitely stay there again."

The pretty leafy garden is ideal to sit out in warm weather, providing plenty of shade. The cottage is in an ideal position at a very close walking distance to the main street in Franschhoek.
